update
I had some free time, so I stopped at the library to update my blog. At the begining of the year, I promised myself I'd walk at least 1 hour a week. Despite some back pain and stiff knees, I did 3-1 hour walks last week. Chloe comes on at least one walk with me each week. We do what I call "work walks". If I exercise just for the sake of exercising, I can't do it. I'm more focused on the pain and how boring it is, Chloe doesn't like how boring it is either. One day, we walked around the mall. I didn't tell her that's what we were doing. I said we were going to just check out each of the stores and get ideas for her bedroom that we will be redecorating in the near future. Being so distracted with our task, we were able to walk an hour without any problems. After a quick lunch, we walked for another half hour. I call them "work walks", because distracting myself with a task helped me to go longer without noticing the pain... plus, Chloe's too distracted to know I'm really just making her exercise. Hope you are all doing well. It might be a while before my next blog. In the mean time, try to make your workouts fun and include your family.
