somewhat good news
I went in for another sleep study to see if the surgery back in May made it any easier for me to use a C-pap (apnea breathing machine). I fell asleep around 9pm, woke up at 2am (for a moment), then was woken up at 7:45am. Usually, I lay awake til about 1 or 2am, barely sleep, wake up constantly, and get up at 6. It has been years since I've slept this well. Good thing I did so well with the machine and am able to get a new one. My ENT (ears/nose/throat doc) said if I didn't do well with the machine, I'd have to have another surgery to widen my throat. Dodge that bullet. I am so blessed. I had so much unexpected energy this morning, I went and did major grocery shopping, and I was able to carry about 12 bags to my apartment which is on the second floor of a building on a hill (who needs a gym membership). I'm so wide awake right now, I don't know what to do today. I feel good enough to go for a walk... right after I have a good breakfast (I'm starving).
