Baked Tilapia with Toasted Almonds


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup(s) nuts, almonds, sliced
  • 3 tablespoon mayonnaise, light
  • 1 tablespoon mustard, Dijon
  • 2 teaspoon lemon
    juice plus 2 teaspoons of grated zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon marjoram, dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 whole fish, tilapia
    filets, 6 ounces each

Instructions

    Heat the oven to 450°F.

    In a small ungreased skillet, toast the almonds over medium heat until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.

    Meanwhile, in a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, mustard, lemon zest, lemon juice, marjoram, and salt. Spread the mixture evenly on the fish. Place the fish on a rimmed baking sheet and scatter the almonds over the tops.

    Bake for about 10 minutes, until the topping is golden brown, the almonds are crisp, and the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Serve hot.
