Recall Alert: Spinach Recall in 39 States Due to Possible E. Coli Contamination
Taylor Retail Farms Inc., is voluntarily recalling its popular Organic Baby Spinach products in 39 states due to a possible Enterohaemorrhagic E. Coli contamination. While there have been no reported illnesses, Taylor Farms is urging customers to dispose of the possibly contaminated products.
The recall extends to the following products with a “Best By” date of February 24, 2013:
Central Market Organics in Texas, Organic Baby Spinach Tray (16 oz.) with UPC number 0-41220-18534-4.
Full Circle Organic in California, Organic Baby Spinach Tray (16 oz.) with UPC number 0-36800-28875-1.
Marketside Organic in Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas, Organic Baby Spinach Tray (5 oz.) with UPC number 6-81131-32898-2.
Simple Truth Organic in Alaska, Arizona, California, Idaho, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming, Organic Baby Spinach Tray (5 oz.) with UPC number 0-11110-91128-5.
