Cinnamon

Adding 1/3 -1 teaspoon of cinnamon to your diet can help stabilize blood sugar, lower blood pressure, lower bad cholesterol, and protect you from cancer, and alleviate arthritis.

Tip: A teaspoon of cinnamon and honey is a great arthritis remedy.

Cinnamon in excess can be dangerous. Do not consume more than 2 tablespoons a day.

Also, talk to your doctor if cinnamon is safe for you, especially if you are taking blood thinners such as Coumadin.
